Regular Season Round 2: Sivar - Liceo 67-20

No shocking result in a game when Sivar smashed at home Liceo 67-20 on Saturday. Sivar held Liceo to an opponent 18.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Sivar forced 24 Liceo turnovers and outrebounded them 45-24 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Olga Trujillo (186-1989) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ixchel Guevara chipped in 12 points during the contest. Sivar's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Florence Gutierrez (164-2004) responded with 11 points and guard Fabiola Mendoza (161-2005) scored 4 points and 6 rebounds. Sivar will meet FAS in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Liceo will play against Santa Tecla and hope to win that game.
