Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#1) and Montevideo (#8). D.Sporting (5-1) smashed visiting Montevideo (2-4) by 32 points 73-41. D.Sporting forced 37 Montevideo turnovers and had a 22-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Argentinian guard Julieta Ale (176-1995) who led her team to a victory with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Jessica Da Costa (-1991) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. D.Sporting's coach Gino Alderete felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Antonella Aguilera (150-1996) replied with 15 points and Ariadna Sanchez (-2006) added 5 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Montevideo. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-1 record, which they share with Malvin and Aguada. Montevideo lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. D.Sporting's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Lagomar.
