Fifth-ranked Blumenau (8-7) gave a tough game to first ranked Sesi/Arara. (16-1) in Araraquara on Saturday. Sesi/Arara. managed to secure only two-point victory 66-64. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Blumenau. Sesi/Arara. forced 25 Blumenau turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Gabriella Soares (174-1998) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists and guard Maila Ciciardi (168-1993) who added 13 points and 5 assists during the contest.
