Bottom-ranked Marlins (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to sixth ranked Sivar (3-2) 58-32 on Tuesday evening. Sivar held Marlins to an opponent 23.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Sivar forced 24 Marlins turnovers and outrebounded them 53-31 including a 23-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Allison Marroquin (167-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and center Karol Alfaro (168-1994) who added 10 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Eloisa Melara (159-2008) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Andrea De Leon scored 2 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sivar maintains sixth position with 3-2 record. Marlins at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with L.M.Mons.. Sivar are looking forward to face higher ranked Ballers (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Marlins will play against L.M.Mons.
