The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Berazategui won third quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. D.Sporting shot 61.1 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for D.Sporting especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when D.Sporting made 9 blocks. American power forward Jacinta Monroe (196-1988, college: FSU, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-1985, college: Union, TN) chipped in 29 points and 7 assists. At the losing side Delfina Gentinetta responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Maria Jourdheuil (180-1994) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Berazategui's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
