Regular Season Round 21: Fajardo - Humacao 90-85

There was no surprise in Fajardo where 6th ranked Grises (7-18) were defeated by third ranked Cariduros (13-13) 90-85 on Monday. Cariduros looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was international forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-1993, college: Manhattan) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. American power forward Terrence Jones (206-1992, college: Kentucky) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international center Timajh Parker-Rivera (202-1994, college: Towson) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American forward Kenneth Horton (201-1989, college: CCSU) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Grises players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cariduros maintains third place with 13-13 record having two points less than leader Ponce. Grises lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. Cariduros will meet at home Atleticos (#5) in the next round. Grises will play against the league's leader Leones and hope to secure a win.
