Regular Season Round 10: Indios - Caneros 107-88

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Indios (6-5) crushed bottom-ranked Caneros (3-7) in San Francisco 107-88 on Wednesday. Indios looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Caneros' players. Adonis Henriquez notched 20 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and American Breein Tyree (188-1998, college: Ole Miss) supported him with 22 points and 4 assists. Five Indios players scored in double figures. Even 26 points by Yeison Colome (190-1996) did not help to save the game for Caneros. Naturalized Spanish Jhonatan Araujo (208-1996) added 15 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Indios have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Soles. Loser Caneros stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Indios will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Caneros will play against Marineros (#6) in Puerto Plata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
