There was no surprise in Santa Tecla where 12th ranked Opico (2-6) was crushed by fourth ranked Teclenas (6-1) 67-36 on Thursday. Teclenas held Opico to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Teclenas forced 28 Opico turnovers. Point guard Paola Campos (165-2001) scored 29 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Alejandra Ayala (174-1993) chipped in 17 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Ana Castillo with 10 points and 8 rebounds and center Karla Escobar (175-1993) scored 4 points and 8 rebounds.
