Bottom-ranked Marlins (0-8) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fourth ranked Teclenas (8-1) 102-30. Teclenas held Marlins to an opponent 22.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Teclenas forced 34 Marlins turnovers and outrebounded them 64-38 including a 35-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Dayana Espinoza (165-2006) came up with 8 points and 9 rebounds and Valeria Murcia added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Marlins in the defeat. Marlins' coach gave up on the game allowing to play fourteen players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Teclenas. They maintain fourth place with 8-1 record. Marlins lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
