Regular Season Round 3: Larranaga - San Telmo RS 87-74

Very predictable result in Montevideo where Larranaga (2-1) defeated San Telmo RS (0-3) 87-74 on Saturday. They outrebounded San Telmo RS 53-34 including 38 on the defensive glass. Larranaga looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Iraqi center Ihab Al-Zuhairi (210-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Agustin Cabillon (198-1995) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian Nahuel Amichetti (202-1998) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Matias Nicoletti (193-1994) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Larranaga's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena 25 de Agosto.
