Regular Season Round 4: Tabare - Sayago 94-62
Date: July 7, 2022
No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Tabare (3-1) smashed at home bottom-ranked Sayago (0-4) 94-62 on Thursday. Tabare looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Sayago's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and point guard Martin Perdomo (178-1995) who added 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Tabare players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Emiliano Bonet (186-2001) responded with 15 points and forward Joaquin Jones (199-1997) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tabare have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Sayago still closes the standings with four games lost. Tabare will meet Larranaga (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Sayago will play against Capitol (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
