Very expected game in Montevideo where 10th ranked Juventud (1-10) was defeated by fifth ranked D.Sporting (8-3) 72-57 on Saturday. D.Sporting forced 27 Juventud turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Josefina Rivera (177-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Paula Sosa (180-1996) chipped in 9 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Forward Karina Acosta (-1986) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and guard Cynthia Diaz (158-1994) added 10 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Juventud keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Paysandu and Urunday.
