The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of FAS (13-1) in San Salvador on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked ExSal (11-3) 51-37. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of FAS. ExSal held FAS to an opponent 21.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded FAS 52-39 including 19 on the offensive glass.
