The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Hebraica (#6) and 25 de Agosto (#2). 25 de Agosto was crushed at home by 21 points 49-70 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of 25 de Agosto. Hebraica dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to 25 de Agosto's 22. Hebraica forced 24 25 de Agosto turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for point guard Romina Dalesandro (157-2003) who led her team to a victory scoring 9 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Argentinian forward Celeste Alfaro (172-1992) helped adding 11 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Sabrina Molina (179-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Paula Tellechea (173-2002) scored 12 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hebraica have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated 25 de Agosto.
