The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Broncos (1-1) in Caracas. Hosts were edged by Piratas (1-1) 69-67. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Piratas players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Tamyrik Fields (198-1996, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (210-1987, college: UConn) contributed with 7 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Four Piratas players scored in double figures. Trinidad and Tobago center Jabari Narcis (206-1997, college: UT Arlington) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and American Musa Abdul-Aleem (196-1988, college: Troy, agency: BIG) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Broncos.
