The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Gigantes (2-1) in Puerto Ordaz on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Guaiqueries (3-1) 69-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gigantes. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a good game for the former international power forward Francisco Centeno (203-1985) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
