Very important is a road loss of third ranked U.Atletica (5-2) against twelfth ranked San Telmo RS (2-5) on Tuesday night. Visiting U.Atletica was defeated by San Telmo RS in a tough game in Montevideo 95-100. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of U.Atletica. American guard Latraius Mosley (198-1990, college: Life) answered with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Sebastian Ottonello (200-1997) added 22 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for U.Atletica. Five U.Atletica players scored in double figures. San Telmo RS moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. U.Atletica at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. San Telmo RS will play against higher ranked Colon (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. U.Atletica will play against Sayago and hopes to get back on the winning track.
