National League top team - Punto Rojo (8-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Fuerza M. (2-7) 77-49. Punto Rojo forced 19 Fuerza M. turnovers and outrebounded them 50-32 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Punto Rojo made 9 blocks. It was a good game for Argentinian Pablo Alderete (198-1993) who led his team to a victory with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Johu Castillo (199-1999) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Punto Rojo players scored in double figures.
