Leader Caballeros blasted 7th ranked Guerreros (1-8) in Tulcan 125-71 keeping the perfect record after 11 rounds. Guerreros is still unable to win any game. Caballeros dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Guerreros' 46. They outrebounded Guerreros 58-47 including a 44-33 advantage in defensive rebounds. Caballeros players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. It was a great evening for American guard Robert Colon (187-1999, college: WSSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 43 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international power forward Carlos Delgado (202-1990) helped adding 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 blocks (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Four Caballeros players scored in double figures. Caballeros' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Arath Polanco (-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Jose Obando (-1999) scored 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Newly promoted Caballeros maintains th place with 0-0 record. Guerreros lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost.
