The game in Talca was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Osorno (9-5) played at the court of eighth ranked Truenos (9-5). Truenos defeated Osorno 96-81. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Osorno. Truenos made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game, while Osorno only scored ten points from the stripe. Truenos players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Ricardo Gomez (176-1993) who led the winners and scored 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Nick Morales (187-1985) accounted for 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Five Truenos players scored in double figures. American center Travion Leonard (205-1993, college: Barry, agency: Interperformances) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Carlos Aranda (200-1992) added 23 points respectively for Osorno in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Truenos moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Osorno.
