Jaguares smashed Leonas at home 78-56. Jaguares forced 24 Leonas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Gisleny Alfaro (175) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Raven Northcross-Baker (175-1996, college: Arkansas) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. The former international forward Kenia Chamorro answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Panamanian guard Ileana Guerrero added 12 points in the effort for Leonas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leonas will play next round against strong No Fear trying to get back on the winning streak. Jaguares will try to continue on its current victory against Tipitapa on the road.
