Everything could happen in Montevideo at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Miramar and 13th ranked Stockolmo had identical 2-9 record. But Stockolmo was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Montevideo 74-71 on Monday night. The best player for the winners was forward Agustin Da Costa (191-1998) who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Chris Ware (203-1989, college: Indiana Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Miramar players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Lenny Daniel (203-1987, college: CSUN) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) added 22 points respectively. Stockolmo's coach Guido Fernandez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Miramar (3-9) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Sayago and San Telmo RS. Stockolmo lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Verdirrojo. Miramar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Verdirrojo.
