Very expected game when UNI was crushed on the road by Jaguares 106-40 on Wednesday. Jaguares held UNI to an opponent 22.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Jaguares forced 22 UNI turnovers and outrebounded them 64-31 including a 40-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by UNI's players. The best player for the winners was center Guisselle Rodriguez who scored 29 points and 9 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Swingman Gisleny Alfaro (175) chipped in 17 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. Junieth Luna produced 15 points and 5 steals and swingman Mariam Urbina (-2000) added 8 points respectively for the guests.
