FAS held Santa Tecla to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Santa Tecla 55-32 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. FAS looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Santa Tecla's players. Yashary Hernandez (170-1999) notched a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and center Silvia Vega (176-2003) supported her with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
