There was no surprise when 8th ranked Nesfebanor (1-12) was crushed on the road by third ranked Club Valle (8-6) 86-60 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American James Edmond Jr (205-1991, college: Lincoln, MO) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Francisco Bedoya (-1998) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Club Valle players scored in double figures. At the losing side Venezuelan power forward Greiber Cova (201-1993) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Yolvis Granado scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Newly promoted Club Valle maintains third position with 8-6 record having five points less than leader Punto Rojo, which they share with Santa Maria. Nesfebanor lost eighth consecutive game. Nesfebanor at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost.
