Second Stage Round 3: Soacha - Bogota 61-35

Very important is a road loss of Bogota (0-2) against Soacha (1-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Bogota was crushed by Soacha in Soacha 61-35. They held Bogota to an opponent 18.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Soacha forced 26 Bogota turnovers and outrebounded them 53-33 including a 40-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Sandra Ardila who led the winners and scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Yenifer Cojo accounted for 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Anggie Rubiano came up with 13 points and 5 steals and Diana Perez added 13 points respectively for Bogota in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Soacha will meet Medellin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bogota will play against Hormigas ILBS and hopes to get finally their first victory.
