Regular Season Round 2: Tipitapa - Jaguares 62-56

Round 2 most important game was a defeat of Jaguares. They were defeated by Tipitapa 62-56 on Sunday night. Tipitapa forced 32 Jaguares turnovers. Strangely Jaguares outrebounded Tipitapa 55-27 including a 41-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Clenia Salazar had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) chipped in 6 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Tipitapa's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Colombian center Narlyn Mosquera (197-1989) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists and swingman Gisleny Alfaro (175) scored 18 points and 7 assists.
