Colon's fans can celebrate the first win of their team.The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Montevideo, where they defeated Larranaga (0-2) 79-69 on Friday. Colon forced 21 Larranaga turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Casey Jones (195-1993, college: Chattanooga) who scored that evening 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Andres Aristimuno (184-1992) supported him with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Colon players scored in double figures. Even 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists by point guard Maximiliano Nobile (181-1997) did not help to save the game for Larranaga. Center Agustin Cabillon (198-1995) added 9 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Colon (1-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Larranaga at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost.
