Second Stage Round 3: Stockolmo - O.Mundial 71-67

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of O.Mundial (1-1) in Montevideo. Visitors were defeated by Stockolmo (2-1) 71-67. It was an exceptional evening for guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Lenny Daniel (203-1987, college: CSUN) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Stockolmo's coach Guido Fernandez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Brazilian center Romulo Gusmao (208) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Santiago Wohlwend (172-1997) added 13 points, 7 assists and 5 steals respectively for O.Mundial in the defeat. Five O.Mundial players scored in double figures. Stockolmo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. O.Mundial's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Miramar.
