We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Montevideo where thirteenth ranked Lagomar (2-2) defeated 12th ranked Verdirrojo (1-2) 74-64 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of Maximiliano Botta (194-1995) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 rebounds and American forward James Currington III (201-1995, college: SE Louisiana) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Lagomar players scored in double figures. Lagomar's coach Mauricio Rodriguez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Hector Silva (192) responded with 28 points and 9 rebounds and guard Damian Andres Blazina (186-1988) scored 10 points and 9 assists.
