Date: August 27, 2022
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#6) and Hebraica (#3). D.Sporting outrebounded Hebraica 50-35 including 40 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-1985, college: Union, TN) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Center Josefina Rivera (177-1998) contributed with 8 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. D.Sporting's coach Gino Alderete allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Argentinian Abril Ramirez (167-2000) answered with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Natasha Dolinsky (173-1997, college: Lincoln, MO) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hebraica.
