Regular Season Round 8: Dorados - Plateros 92-78

An interesting game for Dorados (9-4) which hosted in Chihuahua 4th ranked Plateros (7-6). First ranked Dorados managed to get a 14-point victory 92-78. The winners were led by American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 assists and Argentinian point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) supported him with 20 points. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by the former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HBU) did not help to save the game for Plateros. American forward Jamil Wilson (201-1990, college: Marquette) added 18 points and 5 assists for the guests. Five Dorados and four Plateros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Dorados maintains first position with 9-4 record, which they share with Astros. Loser Plateros keep the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Mineros. Dorados will meet Soles (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Plateros will play against Fuerza Regia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
