There was no surprise when 5th ranked Leonas (2-7) were crushed at home by third ranked No Fear (6-5) 93-48 on Saturday. No Fear forced 21 Leonas turnovers and outrebounded them 58-32 including a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when No Fear made 9 blocks. American forward Dasia Evans (188, college: Wright St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and her fellow American import guard Tashara Jones (173, college: Texas Southern) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five No Fear players scored in double figures. Panamanian guard Ileana Guerrero responded with 14 points and Debon Soto scored 4 points and 11 rebounds. Leonas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. No Fear maintains third place with 6-5 record having four points less than leader Jaguares.
