Rather predictable result in Montevideo where second ranked D.Sporting (3-1) outscored 6th ranked Remeros (1-3) 77-45 on Saturday. D.Sporting forced 22 Remeros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Remeros' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-1985, college: Union, TN) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and Argentinian guard Julieta Ale (176-1995) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. D.Sporting's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Leticia Menendez (164-1995) scored 15 points and 4 assists. D.Sporting have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 3-1 record behind leader Yale, which they share with Lagomar.
