Important game to mention about took place in Margarita. Third ranked Supersonicos (7-10) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th placed Marinos (5-15) 89-86 in the fight for the third place. Supersonicos forced 19 Marinos turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Marinos' players. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Tulio Cobos (197-1986, college: Northeastern St.) helped adding 13 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Supersonicos' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American center Ronald Delph (213-1993, college: FAU) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and Nigerian-American guard George A Williams II (198-1990, college: WBU) scored 27 points. Four Marinos players scored in double figures. Supersonicos have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 7-10 record having seven points less than leader Centauros. Marinos at the other side keep the fourth position with 15 games lost.
