Very expected game when 5th ranked Leonas (2-7) were defeated on the road by first ranked Jaguares (10-1) 86-71 on Sunday. Jaguares forced 23 Leonas turnovers. Colombian center Narlyn Mosquera (197-1989) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American center Khadija Brown (190, college: UAPB) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. The former international forward Kenia Chamorro responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Dominican center Yamile Rodriguez (188-1994, college: ETSU) scored 8 points and 15 rebounds.
