Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Caracas: Broncos (#2) and Brillantes (#2). Broncos (16-10) won against visiting Brillantes (16-9) 85-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Brillantes. American forward Tevin Glass (206-1994, college: ETSU, agency: BIG) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import Musa Abdul-Aleem (196-1988, college: Troy) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American-Peruvian guard Kyle Fuller (184-1992, college: Vanderbilt) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American-Dominican forward Antonio Pena (204-1986, college: Villanova) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four Brillantes players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Broncos. They maintain second place with 16-10 record having just seven point less than leader Centauros which they share with defeated Brillantes. Loser Brillantes keep the second position with nine games lost.
