There was a small surprise in San Fernando where Tinguiririca won against Tomas L. 69-61 on Sunday. Tinguiririca forced 20 Tomas L. turnovers. Derick Machado (-1996) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Matias Sepulveda (-1995) chipped in 21 points. Joaquin Contreras (-2003) produced 17 points and Bastian Zuleta (-1998) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Tomas L.'s coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tinguiririca will meet Liceo Curico on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tomas L. will play against Manquehue and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
