It was a very good performance for American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points (made all of his seven free throws). Argentinian point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Jamil Wilson (201-1990, college: Marquette) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Puerto Rican-Nicaraguan guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Plateros. Five Dorados and four Plateros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
