Plateros topped Dorados to even the series. Plateros made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican-Nicaraguan guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HBU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Five Plateros players scored in double figures. Plateros' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import forward Daviyon Draper (201-1994, college: FIU) added 30 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
