Regular Season Round 2: Universitarios - Centinelas 75-57

Halcones used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 75-57 on Wednesday night. Halcones shot 28 for 43 from the free-throw line, while Centinelas only scored ten points from the stripe. Halcones forced 24 Centinelas turnovers. The best player for the winners was Arturo Molina (182-2003) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Maikol Rodrguez chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Five Halcones players scored in double figures. American Antonio Austin (196-1991, college: SDCC) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Fernando Gonzalez (182-2004) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Halcones will meet at home Caballos in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Centinelas will play against Atletico in Panama City and hope to win that game.
