It was a good game for American center Khadija Brown (190, college: UAPB) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. The former international Jisleny Alfaro contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Dominican center Yamile Rodriguez (188-1994, college: ETSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and Colombian forward Lizeth Cuadros (-1995) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Leonas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Jaguares. They maintain first place with 14-2 record.
