Dorados will play in the semis after they beat Plateros at home court. Dorados outrebounded Plateros 39-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for Argentinian forward Franco Giorgetti (203-1992) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists for the winners. Five Dorados players scored in double figures. The former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HBU) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and Puerto Rican-Nicaraguan guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for Plateros. Plateros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
