Very significant was 25 de Agosto's (#6) just 1-point road victory against 5th ranked Remeros 72-71. Remeros were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Argentinian guard Rocio Bereilh (165-2001) who scored that evening 24 points and 4 steals and Sabrina Molina (179-1998) supported her with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four 25 de Agosto players scored in double figures. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by Argentinian power forward Camila Peri (182-2000) did not help to save the game for Remeros. Argentinian point guard Sofia Wolf (166-2000) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. 25 de Agosto (2-6) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Paysandu and Urunday.
