Tipitapa held off Jaguares to secure the championship series berth. Clenia Salazar orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) contributed with 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center Khadija Brown (190, college: UAPB) replied with 24 points and Colombian center Narlyn Mosquera (197-1989) added 15 points in the effort for Jaguares. Jaguares' coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
