Universitario de Sucre (1-0) and Karl A-Z de Oruro (1-0) got victories against Domingo Savio de Real Potosi (0-2) in Bolivia's Ascenso Tournament, a previous phase of the country's Libobasquet in which the winner will get a chance to play first division basketball next season.

Universitario defeated Domingo Savio 74-59, thanks to a great performance by Camilo Duenas, foreign player Diego Urizar and players Sebastian Calvo and Vladimir Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Domingo Savio's top players were Brazilian Felipe Rech (208-C-94) and Bolivians Limbert Sanchez and Martin Solis, though no final stats were published in the league's official website.

Karl A-Z de Oruro had defeated Domingo Savio in the previous matchday, 76-52. The other team that is involved in this tournament is Real Montero de Santa Cruz.

Calero Potosi won Game 3 of the Finals beating Pichincha Potosi 90-80. Calero posted a narrow win in the opening period and then added a 23-15 rally in the second frame.
