    Bauru celebrated NBB title. They stormed past Paulistano in the decisive fifth game of the title series to capture the trophy. Paschoalotto/Bauru made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. International guard Alex Garcia (191-80, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds. International Leonardo Meindl (201-93) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. Power forward Renato Carbonari (206-87) answered with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard George Lucas (195-96) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Paulistano. Paulistano's coach Gustavo Conti rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
