Flamengo celebrated the first title in the season. The Rio de Janeiro team shot down Tijuca to sweep the Carioca League championship series. Marcelo Magalhaes (201-F/G-75, agency: Interperformances) fired 32 points to lead the winners.
Flamengo posted a 30:17 lead ten minutes into the game. The hosts boosted the gap in the second quarter. Flamengo arrived at halftime up by 22 points 61:39. The hosts did not loosen the grasp in the third term. They accumulated a 97:56 advantage at the final break. Tijuca had little chance to save the game as Flamengo cruised to the victory at the end. Marquinhos Vieira (207-F-84) delivered 15 points for the hosts. Caio Silveira (211-C-87, agency: Interperformances) contributed 16 points for the winning team.

Mogi - Paulistano 82-99 Paulistano got to a confident start of NBB Finals. They cruised past Mogi das Cruzes on the road to grab the lead. The game was mostly controlled by Paulistano. Mogi managed to win third quarter 32-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LOUIS MUNKS 27-year old guard Louis Munks (190-G-90) had a great game in the last round for Brasilia and receives a Interperformances Liga Ouro Player of the Week award for round 14. He had the game-high 22 points adding three rebounds for Brasilia in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Cerrado (#9, 1-15) with 39-point margin 104-65. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. An interesting game for Corinthians (14-2) which played road game in Londrina against 3rd ranked Londrina (11-5).
