The managers are looking forward to find new players to strengthen the group. The first two new signs came from Santos team. Power forward Ricardo Gaspar (202-F-84) and point guard Jefferson Campos (190-G-91) are the new faces on the Suzano/Campestre/Instituto Rato team.
Gaspar has 2.02 m and was one of the highlights of the Paulista State. In 23 matches, the player has averaged nearly 34 minutes on the court, 12.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1 assists and 1.39 block per game. Gaspar in his career played for Saldanha da Gama, Vitria, Vila Velha, Bauru, Americana, among others.
Jefferson Campos was also playing in Santos, and had in his resume played for Vila Velha, Paulistano and Jacarei. He is a fast point guard and now is more experienced.

Uniceub/BRB announced the name of their new head coach. Sergio Hernandez has agreed on terms of contract with former NBB champions. The deal is meant for one season. Sergio Hernandez has worked with Penarol Mar del Plata since 2007. He led the team to the Super 8 Cup title as well as Argentinean LigaA titles. Caerense have re-signed the deal with one of the teams best performers Andre Bresolin (195-G/F-87). The forward joined Caerense at the start of the season. He notched 12.1 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 block per game in NBB. Andre Bresolin helped Caerense occupy the 7th overall position in the regular season as they made it into playoffs.
