The Suzano/Campestre/Instituto Rato basketball team began a transition change in the roster aiming at preparation for the NBB, which starts on November 23. This week, a few players were dismissed from the team. Managers decided to cut Tiaguinho Nigro (189-G-89, college: Wayland Baptist), Daniel Nigro (91) and Leonardo Pereira (90).

The managers are looking forward to find new players to strengthen the group. The first two new signs came from Santos team.
Power forward Ricardo Gaspar (202-F-84) and point guard Jefferson Campos (190-G-91) are the new faces on the Suzano/Campestre/Instituto Rato team.

Gaspar has 2.02 m and was one of the highlights of the Paulista State. In 23 matches, the player has averaged nearly 34 minutes on the court, 12.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1 assists and 1.39 block per game. Gaspar in his career played for Saldanha da Gama, Vitria, Vila Velha, Bauru, Americana, among others.

Jefferson Campos was also playing in Santos, and had in his resume played for Vila Velha, Paulistano and Jacarei. He is a fast point guard and now is more experienced.

Worth to mention a great performance of Sualisson Da-Silva (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. American Point guard Nate Barnes (178-PG-90) had a great game in the last round for Macae, receiving a Interperformances Liga Ouro Player of the Week award for round 9. The 27-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, three rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Corinthians (#1, 8-2) 95-84.
