Sao Jose/Vinac recorded the second victory in the Paulista League Finals. They overcame Pinheiros/Sky at home court to take 2-1 lead in the best-of-fiver series. Fulvio de Assis (187-G-81) accounted for 22 points and 7 assists to pace the hosts. The fourth and could-be decisive game of the series is scheduled for December 1.
Pinheiros/Sky led by three points after the starting quarter 16:13. Sao Jose/Vinac erased the deficit in the second term. They tied things up at 31 heading into the second part of the clash. Pinheiros/Sky put their noses in front in the third term. They snatched a narrow 54:53 lead at the final intermission. Sao Jose/Vinac responded with a massive rally in the final stanza. The hosts stunned Pinheiros/Sky with a 29:11 surge to seal the victory. Erick Camilo (203-F-92) provided 16 points and 6 boards, while Dede Stefanelli (196-F/G-84) added 15 points for the winners. Joe Smith (193-G-77, college: Al.-Huntsville) answered with 15 points for Pinheiros/Sky. Leonardo Morro (208-C-84) chipped in 11 points in the loss.

Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Very significant was Joinville's (#3, 7-4) victory against 4th placed Blumenau (4-7) 78-74. It was a great evening for guard Lucas Vezaro (188-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. point guard Jeferson Froehlich (193-91) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds.
